Shany Dvora Animal Farm
While designing George Orwell's "Animal farm" I tried to put emphasis on the tension between the "western" English casing and the story's Russian origin in Bolshevik revolution. I used the Cyrillic alphabet as a graphic element. The letters have lost their meaning and became a repetitive pattern, giving an industrial like order, echoing the theme of the story. The use of typography and still images are meant for emphasizing how the individual amounts to nothing when he's up against a well-oiled machine.
