ABOUT ME - BIO

Shany Dvora (b. 1990) is a multidisciplinary artist and designer. She graduated with honors from the Department of Visual Communication at the Holon Institute of Technology (B.Design, 2016). For the past three years, she has been studying at Space for Photography and Art.

In 2019, she received an Award of Typographic Excellence from the Type Directors Club (TDC). Her work has been shown in numerous group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including Good Words (Shenkar Design Archive & Research Center, 2021), Transitional Object (Museum of Philistine Culture, 2021), Jerusalem Design Week (2019), TDC: The World's Best Typography (65th Annual Exhibition, New York, 2019), Metabolism (Museum of Islamic Art, Jerusalem, 2018), and High Contrast (Seoul Design Week, 2017). Selected works have been published in print and online design magazines.

Alongside her artistic practice, Shany lectures on her work at institutions including the Design Museum Holon, the Museum of Islamic and Near Eastern Cultures, and ANU – Museum of the Jewish People, and is a regular guest speaker at design schools. She also leads workshops for students.
